How we make our wire
Every step, from wire rod to finished reel, is done in house at our plant in Waliv, Vasai. Nothing is outsourced.
Raw material check
Every wire rod coil is checked for size and surface defects before use.
Cleaning and drawing
The rod is cleaned and drawn through dies down to the required size.
Annealing
Heat treatment softens the wire so it bends and clinches without cracking.
Electroplating
A zinc or copper coating is applied to the weight each grade needs.
Flattening
Round wire is rolled flat and checked for thickness and width as it runs.
Spooling
Wire is wound evenly onto 2 to 25 kg spools so it feeds smoothly on the machine.
Testing
Size, tensile strength and bend are tested for every lot and recorded.
